In September 2023, Finance and Administration Operations, Finance, and Support (OF&S) launched its strategic planning process to create a five-year divisional plan to support the ambitions of the president’s forthcoming university strategic plan. OF&S’s strategic plan serves as the guiding light for the division as it pursues transformational initiatives and redoubles its efforts to support the growth objectives of President Reggie DesRoches.
The strategic plan for OF&S was a collaborative process that leveraged feedback and insights from diverse community members, including students, faculty and researchers, school administrators, deans, new hires, OF&S employees, executive leadership, and members of the Board of Trustees. Kelly Fox incorporated panelist feedback to refine the division's mission and vision statements, while the OF&S working group used it to create divisional goals and objectives.
A very special thanks to all Rice community members who contributed to developing the strategic plan for OF&S. The candid feedback from community panelists and the dedication of working group members brought this plan to life by ensuring our direction is uniquely Rice.
